It's About Time I Talk About Hair - Natural Girls Rock DeepSoulutions Deep Conditioner

I absolutely love deep conditioning my hair. Obviously it has great benefits for my hair, but it does wonders for my body as well. It is the most relaxing thing ever...EVER!!!

Recently I've been using Aussie's 3-Minute Miracle Deeep (yes, there's really 3 e's) Conditioner. Like most of the population I LOVE IT, but today I wanted to try something new. If you subscribe to Curl Collection, you received the Natural Girls Rock Deep SOULutions Deep Conditioner back in December. I love this product! If I had to describe it in 3 words, I'd say: moisture, moisture, moisture. I color my hair, so moisture retention is very essential in my hair care routine. When I initially opened the jar I could tell I was going to like it. The conditioner itself is very creamy and you can see the oils on top (before use, you should stir to properly mix the contents). Oh, and it smells heavenly!!
After applying it to freshly washed hair, I twisted my hair into 4 sections, covered it with a plastic bag, wrapped my hair in an old t-shirt and left it on for about 2 hours (I didn't want to interrupt the relaxation). Let me tell you...when I rinsed it out my hair was so incredibly soft and bouncy. I absolutely loved it. If you want to check out this deep conditioner click the link below and experience the magic for yourself.

It's About Time I Get Back On Track

Hello again!

I have been so out of whack lately. I haven't gone for my morning run in like a week, I feel like I am constantly playing catch-up with my school work (why did I decide to go to grad school? Like really, why?) and I've just felt kinda of blah. I'm even at a loss for what I want to write about today. I guess it's just a case of the Tuesdays.

See y'all soon!

P.S. Really cool stuff coming up...like really soon.

It's About Time I Started This Blog

I guess I should start off by introducing myself, my name is Tiffany and welcome to my little slice of life. I've been meaning to start this blog for quite sometime now and even made it a part of my New Years Resolution (it's still January, so it totally counts), I don't know, maybe I'm trying to recapture my affinity for writing. You know the story. A young girl with a passion for writing, always dreamt of being a published author one day, even wrote short stories in elementary school - that were subsequently stolen from her and ripped to pieces by her punk classmates, but I digress. Despite everything, she carries her passion into high school and although the way into college where her freshman english course rips it to shreds. Okay, yea I'm being a little overdramatic but if I had to pinpoint it, I would say college is where I lost my love. I wrote everything: short stories, prose, poems, spoken word pieces (those were my favorite), even the occasional murder mystery (I blame Clue) but something changed and I stopped.

(But back to my "brief bio")

I am 23, and married to the most wonderful person in the world. He happens to be in the USAF so along with our two dogs, we live in Okinawa, Japan. It has been a wonderful experience living not only in a foreign land, but on a beautiful island such as this one.

Well, I guess that was brief. Here are some pictures of my life. See ya soon!
